Silent Video: Versatile Usage for Workshop Displays and CompTIA Offices' Lobby LCDs

CompTIA, the leading provider of vendor-neutral IT certifications, approached me to create a captivating video for their upcoming event. As the Chief Marketing Officer reached out to me, I recognized the opportunity to showcase the reality of the IT job market and demonstrate how CompTIA empowers IT professionals to achieve career success through their certification programs.
To bring this vision to life, I meticulously storyboarded the video, incorporating on-brand, iconic illustrations that symbolize various statistics and highlight the value that CompTIA offers. The intention was to create a visually engaging piece that would be displayed at their event stands and in the lobby of their offices, capturing the attention of attendees and visitors alike.
Considering the environment in which the video would be played, I purposefully designed it to be soundless, ensuring it could be viewed in quiet settings without disturbing the atmosphere. This decision helped maintain a seamless and immersive experience for viewers.
Using my expertise in Adobe Illustrator, I crafted the illustrations, paying careful attention to every detail. Additionally, I leveraged Adobe Animate to animate certain elements, enhancing the overall visual appeal. The production phase took place in Adobe After Effects, where I skillfully combined the animated illustrations and added dynamic effects. Finally, I completed the project by fine-tuning the video in Adobe Premiere, ensuring a polished and professional end result.
The success of the video exceeded expectations, and CompTIA recognized its potential for further engagement. Consequently, we repurposed different segments of the video for dissemination across their social media channels. By doing so, we maximized its impact and expanded its reach, driving increased awareness of CompTIA's certifications and their benefits to a broader audience.
